Multiverse Room-Mates [closed to hashisreasons/forcefierce]
Kylo would like to point out that he gave his room-mates the illusion of privacy at least. Never mind that he could just read their thoughts as easily as he breathed, he did his best not to do such things because he knew it was rude. Or more to the point last time he did it, Matt had whined for three hours about how he was violating the terms of the room-mate agreement and he promised! It wasn't worth the head-ache.
Still, he at least tried to be a good room-mate. When he felt like it.
They were out, it had just been him in the flat when the Force Bond had flared to life. He was very grateful that he was showered and dressed this time; the last time it had happened when he was still only half awake and that had been a level of awkward with Rey that he hadn't really wanted to deal with.
Still, it had been just him, and it was nice. To be able to talk openly with her with no worry of anyone interrupting.
They needed more moments like that

Maybe now he could get Kylo to do some magic with him.
As he came up to Kylo's door, he frowned. He'd even been about to knock when he heard Kylo talking to himself. He hesitated only a moment before he just barged right in.
"Are you really talking to yourself? Do you do this when we're not home?"
no subject
"I was not talking to myself," he snarled, storming into the kitchen to get some juice. He slammed the fridge door closed when he saw that Matt had only bought the kind with pulp. Again.
"I was talking to Rey. And you interrupted."
no subject
"Okay..." He sighed, taking a deep breath and trying not to react. "Rey, who's Rey? Is that a girlfriend? When did you start dating?"
no subject
"Rey," he said. "Who I share a Force Bond with?" He prompted, hoping the Asgardian would actually remember for a change. As much as Matt whined, it was nice that he would at least remember things. Except - apparently - for buying juice that did not have pulp. He sighed. "She gave me the scar," he gestured to the scar that ran down the side of his face. At least he didn't touch it this time.
"And... we've been dating for a while now." At least he thought they were dating. They had held hands in a rather intimate way... Rey was being rather odd about it all. And she was always around the traitor and Dameron. His fist clenched at the thought.
A glass broke.
"...Damn, Matt is going to pissed."
no subject
He stops, staring. "Force bond..." He did remember Kylo talking about that. "I... I didn't realize."
He almost looked disappointed.
Rolling his eyes, Loki raised a hand and waved in front of him. The shards on the floor rose and slowly became a glass again, this time settling on the counter where Kylo couldn't break it. Stepping forward, Loki took Kylo's hand and began to make sure it wasn't cut. If it was, he'd heal it.
"Something troubles you," he murmured. "Do I have to step in and help?"
no subject
"Yes, well, you interrupted and it cut off," he seethed, anger still prickling at that having happened. He so rarely got time to speak with Rey lately, that any chance he could get being cut short... His fingers twitched, so tempted to simple Force choke Loki. It wouldn't do much, probably, but it would make him feel better and that was worth it. It wasn't like Loki knew Rey, so he wouldn't tell her.
"She doesn't want to tell people about us," he grumbled. "Just because I tortured Dameron, and slaughtered some villages, and she works for my Mother... I offered her the galaxy!"
no subject
He was not afraid of Kylo. Far from it, he dared Kylo to try to use his little Force against his own powerful magic.
"Okay..." He frowned. "Why doesn't she want to tell people you're together. So, you tortured someone. Some people died. You would think the mother angle would be so good for you," he muttered more to himself than to Kylo. "I mean, there will be other villages." Loki didn't see anything wrong with anything Kylo said. Perhaps that was part of the problem.
"Who wouldn't want the galazy? Is she ill?"

let's start here?
It wasn't easy.
Kylo?
She called out his name softly, nervously, not even sure if he was awake or what he was doing. It was early, probably too early, but it was too late now. When the bond was on, she had to answer to it. She didn't know how not to.
Good place to do it.
None of it made sense and it greatly frustrated him. This frustration was one of the many reasons he had decided to leave work early that day, and return to the flat hours before either of his room-mates would be there. (The other reasons were all Hux; the General was an ass and Force flinging him against the nearest wall was loosing it's appeal.) He had gone back to an older method of dealing with frustration - exercise. He forced himself into going through drills he hadn;t done in years, just in the hopes that it might make his mind blissfully numb enough that maybe for five minutes, the Bond would not control him.
It seemed to work, until he returned from the shower, towelling off his hair.
...Rey.
it's a start
While it didn't really make a difference, Rey quickly closed her eyes. Still, she could see him. A lot of him, in fact. She blushed, shaking her head and wishing to someone above that she had better timing. And she tried not to stare. She really was trying.
And failing.
You're busy. I should...
Should what? She frowned. Should go? Should turn it off? None of it sounded right to her. Mostly because none of it was right. It was all wrong. She swallowed, letting out a breath she'd been holding.
I'm interrupting you.
no subject
No, no, it's fine
He rushed to look somewhat presentable, not wanting to lose the Bond now and have to wait till... who knew when it would decide to open again? He gave an awkward sounding cough, sitting on the edge of his bed, breathing a little heavier than it had been from how quickly he ran to get at least some pants on.
What's wrong?
no subject
And she really didn't. Not that she was ready to tell him she'd had been dreaming about him. She knew how angry he got that she was spending time with Poe. She wanted to spend time with both of them, but not if Kylo was going to be a jerk about her other friends. So, she'd been pulling away.
And clearly the force bond felt differently.
I woke you, didn't I?
no subject
He hadn't felt any particular signs of distress coming from her, but then again, he had been actively attempting to ignore the Bond as much as he could, even for a short while. But he had never intended to block her out, never that. He couldn't do that do her, that would be...
It wasn't something he intended to do.
He shifted, aware of the fact that he was still wet from the shower.
No. Time difference, it's.... I was... busy

("It's for laundry day," he grumbled when she expressed her delight at the soft grey top. Kylo had to stop staring at how it hung on her, and how easy it would be to... No, wait, they needed food. And to clean.)
He wasn't surprised to see Loki and Matt waiting on the sofa when he came out of his room. (He might have given Rey a top, but he hadn't bothered on one for himself after pulling on jeans. She seemed to like that, anyway.) Kylo wandered into the kitchen, pouring two generous glasses of juice, before wandering back out. One he sat on the table, waiting for Rey when she came out of the bathroom. The other he drank quickly, greedily.
"So, who's the second one for?" Kylo blinked. Oh. Wanda was here. He didn't notice the way her eyes widened on seeing him at first, too interested in finishing his drink.
"I'm getting all these texts about your 'girlfriend'," there was that smile again, the one that said she knew he was lying. "She finally visit?"
no subject
"Wanda, leave him alone. She's here. We told you that she was," Matt said, trying to plead for Kylo, trying to back him up.
Before anything else could be said, Rey slowly wandered out, smiling at the others. "Hello," she murmured, turning to look at Matt and Loki. "Sorry about earlier. I'll make sure that we get the room cleaned up and we will get a new telly. Maybe for out here, where he can't so easily damage it," she teased.
The shirt fell on her, falling just above her knees, covering most but leaving nothing to the imagination. She had nothing on under it. She smiled a little wider as she moved over to the table, leaning in to kiss his cheek before taking her seat. "Mmm, juice!" Taking the glass, she sipped at it. "You promised me food. Not just juice," she teased.
Finally, Rey turned to Wanda, purposefully not addressing her right away. "Hi. I don't think we've met. I'm Rey. His girlfriend."
no subject
"You didn't say what you wanted," he pointed out. "I was going to call for pizza." Largely as his own cooking skills were not too great and he knew Matt would be hovering over his shoulder at whatever he attempted. Speaking of which, he turned to his flat-mates: "you're not getting any."
Wanda, in the mean time, was looking between Rey, and Kylo, and then to Loki and back. "Wait, you're actually real? Not just pretending?"
no subject
To Wanda, her smile slipped a little. "I am real. Last I checked. Breathing and everything. You can pinch me if you like, but then I reserve the right to pinch back," she murmured. There was no real malice in her voice, no anger, but there was a hint of frustration there. She wasn't pleased with how Wanda had been harassing Kylo.
She turned back to Ben. "No fish, please. I hate those little things." Reaching out, she took one of his hands and threaded their fingers together on the table.
no subject
"Since when do you hate fish?" It seemed like a legitimate question from Kylo. Then he frowned. "Wait, is this something to do with Uncle Luke and that whole green milk thing? I caught a bit of it over the Bond but... I'm mostly confused."
Speaking of confused, Wanda looked at Loki. "She even knows his Uncle?"
no subject
Her eyes widened and she stared at him. "Okay, those don't count. I like fish. I hate the little fish things that they put on pizza. Those aren't fish. They're bitter. And salty. And they ruin the pizza. I am a pizza purist," she teased, giving his hand a squeeze. "But if you're confused, I can help you understand." She leaned in, pretending to whisper into his ear, brushing her lips against them.
Loki rolled his eyes. "We did tell you that she is from his world. It's not my fault you thought we were all lying." Rey looked over at Wanda, half glaring at her. "His uncle Luke trained me in the force too. I also know his family and we have a lot of the same acquaintances." She turned to him, shaking her head. "Yeah... Chewie still hates you. Sorry."

Still, today was a great say. He finally had free time and so had taken himself round to the apartment. He knocked on the door and waited. Surely it wouldn't take Loki too long to answer.
no subject
Frowning, Loki rose to his feet and answered the door. When he did, he stared. "No, no no no. We don't want any. Go away," he murmured. At least he did not slam the door in Thor's face like he really wanted to. Behind him, he could practically feel Matt grinning. "Thor! Welcome back. Come in."
no subject
There were a few new posters since he had last been there, and he saw that the list of Kylo's shows that he could not watch had been added to.
"How are you all?"
no subject
Matt grinned at Thor. "Well, he's Loki. He hasn't played a prank on me this week, so progress?" He peeked over at Loki, then looked back up at Thor. "I think he and Wanda are still sore that Kylo's girlfriend actually turned out to be real."
Loki looked up from his phone, pouting. "I am not sore."
no subject
"What?" He looked back at Loki. "She's real? But I had thought that you said she was clearly something he made up due to insecurities?"
no subject
Loki's glare seemed to get worse. "Well, apparently she's real. She was here. Is here." He looked like he was going to be sick. "They have been in there for 24 hours now and barely come out for food. Disgusting."
