Multiverse Room-Mates [closed to hashisreasons/forcefierce]
Kylo would like to point out that he gave his room-mates the illusion of privacy at least. Never mind that he could just read their thoughts as easily as he breathed, he did his best not to do such things because he knew it was rude. Or more to the point last time he did it, Matt had whined for three hours about how he was violating the terms of the room-mate agreement and he promised! It wasn't worth the head-ache.
Still, he at least tried to be a good room-mate. When he felt like it.
They were out, it had just been him in the flat when the Force Bond had flared to life. He was very grateful that he was showered and dressed this time; the last time it had happened when he was still only half awake and that had been a level of awkward with Rey that he hadn't really wanted to deal with.
Still, it had been just him, and it was nice. To be able to talk openly with her with no worry of anyone interrupting.
They needed more moments like that

"You didn't say what you wanted," he pointed out. "I was going to call for pizza." Largely as his own cooking skills were not too great and he knew Matt would be hovering over his shoulder at whatever he attempted. Speaking of which, he turned to his flat-mates: "you're not getting any."
Wanda, in the mean time, was looking between Rey, and Kylo, and then to Loki and back. "Wait, you're actually real? Not just pretending?"
no subject
To Wanda, her smile slipped a little. "I am real. Last I checked. Breathing and everything. You can pinch me if you like, but then I reserve the right to pinch back," she murmured. There was no real malice in her voice, no anger, but there was a hint of frustration there. She wasn't pleased with how Wanda had been harassing Kylo.
She turned back to Ben. "No fish, please. I hate those little things." Reaching out, she took one of his hands and threaded their fingers together on the table.
no subject
"Since when do you hate fish?" It seemed like a legitimate question from Kylo. Then he frowned. "Wait, is this something to do with Uncle Luke and that whole green milk thing? I caught a bit of it over the Bond but... I'm mostly confused."
Speaking of confused, Wanda looked at Loki. "She even knows his Uncle?"
no subject
Her eyes widened and she stared at him. "Okay, those don't count. I like fish. I hate the little fish things that they put on pizza. Those aren't fish. They're bitter. And salty. And they ruin the pizza. I am a pizza purist," she teased, giving his hand a squeeze. "But if you're confused, I can help you understand." She leaned in, pretending to whisper into his ear, brushing her lips against them.
Loki rolled his eyes. "We did tell you that she is from his world. It's not my fault you thought we were all lying." Rey looked over at Wanda, half glaring at her. "His uncle Luke trained me in the force too. I also know his family and we have a lot of the same acquaintances." She turned to him, shaking her head. "Yeah... Chewie still hates you. Sorry."
no subject
Kylo pulled a face at that. He forgot Matt actually got along with Phasma. He was thinking he and Loki needed to have words with Matt regarding his ability to get along with people. Luckily the pulled fact didn't last long, Rey distracting him easily. The hand not being squeezed by hers was thrown over the back of her chair, an action that was clearly recognisable at a subtle - for him, at least - claiming.
"Oh, come on, Loki, you were convinced she wasn't real too," Wanda rolled her eyes. "I have the texts from you, saying how he's clearly in denial and made up this 'Rey' so that Matt stops asking."
Kylo just shrugged. "Still a better Uncle than Luke."

She has friends she knew he didn’t like. Finn. Poe. They had to work together and be polite to their mutual friends, especially if they were going to work.
Rey easily relaxed against him, wrapping her free arm around his waist. If she was putting a show on for Wanda, it wasn’t intentional. She genuinely liked the feel of him beside her. If it was claiming, she wasn’t arguing. “Well, you will have to do some apologizing to get him to like you again.”
Glancing over at Loki, he at least had the grace to look sheepish. “It is fine. I get it. You guys just don’t see the man I do. Your loss.” She winked at Ben, resting her head against his shoulder. “You’re welcome to think whatever you want. I assure you all, I’m real.”
Leaning forward, Rey captured his lips with her own, giving him a passionate kiss and not caring if they had an audience. Her hand rubbed his back as she sucked lightly on his bottom lip.

Kylo was about to start on about how for him to even consider making an apology Luke would need to do a HELL of a lot... but then Rey was kissing hi, and frankly that was a lot more interesting to him that his stupid Uncle. Espeically considering that - with her being so close - he could just pull her out of her own chair and on to his lap.
He'd genuinely forgotten people were around him.
Matt looked uncomfortable
Wanda shifted and swallowed. "Uh.... Loki?" As if she expected him to be able to sort this. Maybe she should have accepted that date to Dave and Busters....
no subject
Honestly, she had meant apologizing to Chewie, not Luke, when the kissing started. Rey easily climbed into his lap, sitting sideways like a princess, arms wrapping around his neck.
“Matt, we should make dinner together. For everyone. It will be fun.” Pulling away from Ben, she looked up at Matt, ignoring Loki and Wanda completely. If they wanted to be petty, let them.
Loki rilled his eyes. “Your point is proven. Alright?” Shaking his head, he stared at Wanda. “You wanted a show. You started this. You provoked him!”
Rey pulled away, cupping Bens face as she looked into his eyes. “Right? Dinner. Not like you had any plans?”
no subject
"I... would love to cook with you," Matt said, managing to find his ground quickly once he was fairly sure he wasn't going to see Kylo's tongue in her mouth again. "I'm sure we'd be able to come up with something that will satisfying all these picky eaters." At that Matt gave a big smile, trying to show a bit of light humor.
"You were the one who was spying on him in the shower and told me he was shredded!" Wanda pointed accusingly. "And you never sent me a picture!"
Kylo tried not to pay attention to what they were saying, focusing more on Rey. "Uh... no plans except, well," he gave a small smirk. He had hoped on dragging her back into the room for a bit.
no subject
Her eyes narrowed and she glared at Loki and Wanda, not even bothering to hide it. "And NO more walking into him in the shower. He walks around shirtless enough that you can see how shredded he is," she growled. "If I find out one picture has been taken, you will regret it."
Turning back to Kylo, she smiled and kissed his nose. "We have all the time... You can eat with us. It won't kill you." Leaning in close, she lowered her voice and whispered into his ear. "You might need to refuel and build up some strength..."
Slowly, she rose to her feet and moved over to pour herself another glass of juice. "Glad we had this talk. Nice to meet all of you." She smiled at Matt. "I have a cookbook I bet you would like."

Kylo was just enjoying watching Rey's anger at Loki and Wanda. The smile on his face as he watched her was growing and honestly, there was a lot of questioning in his head as to why they were still around other people.
(we can always handwave the 'social' and time skip?)
Rey turned, moving behind Kylo and leaning down over his shoulder. Her lips brushed his ear as one of her hands rubbed up and down his back. I know what you're thinking. It doesn't hurt to be social. She grinned as she used the force to whisper to him. Trust me. I'm not going anywhere. You're stuck with me for a while.
(we could... it's fun to torture Kylo like this LOL.)
That's not entirely what I was thinking, Kylo raised his eyebrow at her, hints of that smirk back on his face. I think you've stunned Wanda.
no subject
Her arms wound around his waist as she snuggled him, not caring if they stared or not. Be nice and social. I'll make it up to you later.
no subject
You'd better.

She chuckled, turning her face to kiss his cheek. She could only imagine the looks they were getting from the others. She was vaguely aware of the fact that Matt had stopped speaking. She knew she'd have to pull away to start doing things. And he doubted Kylo would want to help.
But then I can't cook. And I do like Matt, at least. She didn't mind being claimed. And that right there should have made a bell ring or something warn her, but it didn't.

"Um, Kylo, I think this might be yours?" He held up the book - if you could call it that, being hand written - Recipes From Alderaan.
"...Yes," he looked away, "that's mine." I forgot I brought it here. One of the few things Leia gave me before sending me off to Skywalker
no subject
Ben, this is amazing. Your mother trusted you with this... She still asks about you.
She sighed, her fingers running over the page. She knew how Kylo could withdraw in on himself when something bad happened. She hoped this didn't trigger him that way.
no subject
She taught me as much as she could. Alderaan traditions have to live on. There was a pause, and his next thought was much more awkward. That's part of my role, technically, as the Prince.
Wanda look confused, and when she turned to Loki for answers, she at least dropped her voice so she wouldn't be overheard. "What's the deal about a cook book?"
no subject
Grabbing the book and his hand, she practically dragged him up out of his chair and back to his bedroom. Once they were alone, she turned to look at him, not wanting to have Wanda within earshot. If they were smart, the others would fill her in while they were absent.
"Ben," she murmured, preferring that name over his other one. "I know... I know the past is hard for you. I'm sorry. I didn't know this existed. I wouldn't have brought up cookbooks." Setting the book aside, she took both his hands in hers. "Please, forgive me. I know how private you like to be."
no subject
"I... forgot I even had it." There's a tone to his voice, astonishment mixed with a sense of reprimanding himself. He looked up at Rey, the confusion clear on his face. "It meant so much to her... and I forgot I had it."
The question is clear: how could he forget?
no subject
If she was honest, she thought that he didn't have anything to do with it. He didn't forget. She would bet that someone had taken that memory away from him. Threading their fingers together, she rubbed his knuckles with her thumb. "But, you have it now. It's here. We should, you know, maybe make something from it?"
Her eyes closed and she rested her head on his shoulder. If she had her way, Snoke would get out of his mind and everything would be better, but it couldn't be her choice. It had to be his.
no subject
He'd never really had much of a chance to prepare meals for himself. Simple rations when he had been a student at Luke's Academy, nd then Snoke always had his meals prepared so as to not distract him from the importance of his training.
Now he thinks on it, he's rarely had the opportunity to make many choices for himself.
no subject
Snoke. If she had her way, she would never let him go back to Snoke or the First Order.
She turned her head, whispering into his ear. "I think you should do what you want to do. And whatever you want, I have your back. I'm not going anywhere. Decide what you want to do, not what others want you to do for them."
no subject
"There's... other things from Alderaan, that Leia taught me. Some I looked up myself." He had Leia's culture, but nothing of Han's. Though the man had admitted that beyond the ale there was nothing of value from Corellia that he would share willingly with Kylo.
"...Can I share them with you?"
